By profession a curative teacher and social worker, our love of nature and creative work has always accompanied us on our life’s journey. We have been putting this into practice for many years in the garden, in the house and when working with different materials.

We also enjoy sharing this joy of gardening with people and celebrating together with them over a glass of wine and organising small and large festivities in such a way that they become a special event.

You too are welcome as a guest and feel at home!

The house

Our house was built in 1992 according to building biological and ecological criteria. The local wood was cut at over 1,000 m above sea level near new Moon, air-dried and untreated. The interior was built using dry construction methods. A 20m3 rainwater cistern feeds the toilet flush, the washing machine and the water supply in the garden. The hot and heating water is provided by solar collectors and a district heating system. The paints used indoors and outdoors are exclusively organic products

The garden

Our garden has developed step by step. Many cosy seats invite you to linger. Over 100 different roses beguile you with their fragrance. In midsummer you will find shade under trees and shrubs and many different flowers and perennials are daily food for insects, birds and your soul.

Learn to live

“Learning to live

From the sun learn to warm up,
from the clouds learn to float lightly,
from the wind learn to give impetus,
from the birds learn to gain haight,
from the trees learn to be seadfast.

From the flowers learn to shine,
from the stones learn to stay,
from the bushes in spring learn to renewal,
from the leaves in automn learn to fall,
from the storm learn passion.

From the rain learn to pour out,
from the earth learn to be motherly,
from the moon learn to change,
from the stars learn to be one of many;
from the seasons learn, that life always begins anew…”
